Susana is an emerging painter currently completing her final year of Fine Arts, with graduation scheduled for July 2026. Her practice centers on atmospheric, introspective compositions that explore memory and space. Throught 2025, she started presenting her work in several group exhibitions, where her pieces were noted for their tension between abstraction and figuration. She is presently developing her thesis project, expanding her research into materiality and the poetics of visual perception.
She is specialised in oil painting and textiles, and it’s the founder of De Freitas Atelier.
